Breathing practices have gained mainstream popularity in the past year, and rightfully so. Breathwork has been shown to help reduce stress, control emotions, increase attention, and improve overall well-being.

What is the best time to exercise during Ramadan, before or after Iftar? While that answer can depend on each individual person, there are some things to consider when planning your workouts.

Before Iftar, aerobic exercises such as walking, running, or any sport that increases your heart rate can be enjoyable.

After Iftar is the best time to do resistance training and weightlifting since your body is more fuelled.

Remember the importance of hydration! A balance of water and electrolytes after long hours of fasting can help keep you alert and energized through workouts and helps avoid injuries.

Here’s to a strong month ahead!
